Summer at SEHN
SEHN Networker Volume 20 (7) Summer 2015
A brief note from the editor
“Summer afternoon—summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language.” - Henry James
Dear Friends,
As the nights get a little longer, we say goodbye to summer and hello to an exciting fall. The Science and Environmental Health Network has been busy -- in the field, in the press, and with communities fighting against fracking, mining and climate change. We have some exciting projects planned for the coming months, including two compelling workshops, updated websites, more writing, and our continued engagement in grassroots organizing from Utah to Iowa. Stay tuned for more information in early September.
Sincerely, Kaitlin Butler Program Director

October 21st Minneapolis Event
On Wednesday, October 21st, SEHN will host a special evening with Science
Director Ted Schettler and Executive Director Carolyn Raffensperger, along with Women's Congress Initiative Director Ann Manning and Program Director, Kaitlin Butler. At this special gathering, we will be weaving together the story of how the breast cancer community led the struggle to implement the precautionary principle, Ted's work on the ecology of breast cancer and the Women's Congress. We will follow the thread in the labyrinth of women's activism and women's environmental health.
Stay tuned for more information, coming soon.
